Tool theft – The community responds quickly!

As many of you may have heard, our 3-family, almost completed home was burglarized over the weekend and $5000 worth of tools and equipment were stolen. Offers of help and donations have been coming from all around, even from Vermont and Massachusetts.  We are deeply touched and thankful for the outpouring of help, from organizations, volunteers, fellow Habitat for Humanity offices, and the general public.

At the Warehouse store yesterday, volunteers helped donors bring in tools for our construction team.

Volunteers at the Warehouse store help with tool donation

Since we may receive more tools than needed at the job site, some tools may be sold at the Warehouse to raise funds for construction. We will ask you if you prefer to have your donation to go ONLY to the construction crew and will honor that request.

If you live in an area outside of the Greater Manchester NH area and need a pickup, please consider donating items to a Habitat affiliate in your area. Go to http://habitat.org/local to find the nearest Habitat for Humanity office.
