In order for the Greater
Manchester Habitat for Humanity
to fulfill our mission we need
your help! Habitat works in
partnership with caring people
such as yourself to build and renovate decent, affordable
housing. These are not extravagant houses, just nice, comfortable
places to live without fear or worry.
Habitat is not a giveaway program. In addition to a down payment
and the monthly mortgage payments, homeowners invest hundreds
of hours of their own labor -- sweat equity -- into building
their Habitat house and the houses of others. In order to
keep these homes as affordable as possible, they are sold
with no profit and a 0.0% interest loan.
Money from this loan then returns to a revolving account to
build more homes. This is not a hand out, but a hand up!
Ways you can help:
- Land or Run Down House Needed
Since we are almost finished with our
current project, we are
looking for a suitable piece of buildable land (tear down
ok) or a property that is a true "handy man special"
in order to start our next project. We are looking
for full or partial donations in order to keep the home
affordable. Any donations should be tax deductible, but
you will need to contact your CPA to determine your eligibility.
The Greater Manchester affiliate of Habitat serves the
communities of Manchester, Hooksett, Candia, Auburn, Derry,
Londonderry, Litchfield, Bedford and Goffstown.
- Donate a Car to "Cars
for Homes" - Habitat for Humanity’s car donation
program
It is quick and
easy to donate a car, truck, boat, RV, motorcycle, construction
equipment or other vehicle — running or not!
Plus, when you donate your car, your vehicle donation
may be eligible for tax deduction purposes if you itemize.

Shaw's
& Star Market 
Shaw’s has a new
program called Shaw’s Community
Rewards. You do not have to save and send in receipts
for it. It is tied to your Shaw’s Rewards Card.
To participate and help us, you need to go to www.shaws.com/neighborhoodrewards
and register your Rewards Card and then login and designate
Manchester Habitat for Humanity
as an organization you wish to support.
In order to support Manchester Habitat for Humanity, you
will need to go to the section about non-profit organizations
and enter our rewards ID number 49001019466.
Once this is complete, Shaw’s
will donate 1% of qualifying purchases made on Tuesday,
Wednesday, or Thursday automatically without you having
to submit any receipts.

We need help both at the job site and on our committees
keeping the organization running. Check out our Volunteer
page for details.

Your donations will help us give a helping hand to people right here in the Manchester area.
Money will allow us to purchase materials needed to build a home. It also allows us to hire contractors to do
specialized work such as electrical, plumbing and paving.
You can donate online or send us a check in the mail.
You can also go to Lowe's or Home Depot and purchase a Gift Card to send to us.
