Habitat for Humanity International is founded on the conviction that everyone should have a decent, safe, and affordable place to live. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat for Humanity International and its homeowner families have built or rehabilitated more than 400,000 houses in the United States and abroad. A nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing ministry, Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races, and religions to build together in partnership.
The Greater Manchester Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, and serves serves the communities of Manchester, Hooksett, Candia, Auburn, Derry, Londonderry, Litchfield, Bedford and Goffstown.
With the help of our donors and volunteers, Greater Manchester Habitat for Humanity has built six homes and has helped local, low-income homeowners with 12 smaller projects. But to continue serving the community, Greater Manchester Habitat for Humanity needs volunteers to help us build a future together, and donations to make that vision a reality.
The Habitat for Humanity International web site contains more information on Habitat's history, mission, volunteer opportunities and contact information for other Habitat affiliates around the world.
